Brock appeared in five AHL playoff games for Hartford last year after four seasons at St. Lawrence University. His first professional goal came with Syracuse Nov. 18 in a 5-2 loss at Albany. McBride led St. Lawrence in scoring as a junior and finished second in his senior season, completing his collegiate career with 110 points (40g-70a) in 140 games for the Saints.
