The Peoria Rivermen scored the final four goals of regulation to force overtime but fell 6-5 to the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center on Tuesday night. A 15-year-old attendance record fell on Saturday night as the 10,129 fans watched the Peoria Rivermen defeat the Lake Erie Monsters 3-1 at Carver Arena. The previous attendance record for professional hockey in Peoria was 9,427 set back on March 4, 1995. St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has acquired forward Pierre-Cedric Labrie from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Yan Stastny. Labrie will report to the Peoria Rivermen.
